Community Event – Help Save Jodie Gee
This letter comes from our friends at The Crow Collection of Asian Art, who are organizing a community blood drive on MARCH 7 to help Jodie Gee, a local mother of two who has a rare bone marrow disorder called Severe Aplastic Anemia.
The blood drive will take place in conjunction with the Crow Collection’s monthly free Family Day, which will feature a program focused on the Japanese Doll Festival.
Jodie is waiting to hear about a possible bone marrow donor, but in the meantime can use all the community support and love she can get. Please go out to the Crow Collection this weekend, show your support, enjoy the museum, and spend some time doing good by donating blood.
Carter Blood Care will be there only from 10am to 2pm, so be sure to go early.
You can find out more about Jodie in the letter below as well as at www.savejodie.com
